Retro Norwegian Figgjo Flint 'Sissel Gul' Design Ceramic Serving Plate in Yellow
For a full product description, see below.
This is an attractive retro serving plate from the ‘Sissel Gul’ suite produced from the 1950s to 1970s by Figgjo Flint of Norway.
The rounded rim expands outwards to form two ‘wings’ opposite each other. Each of these occupies about one-sixth of the circumference and has an abstract design in relief, reminiscent of a twisted cord, the detail being picked out in white.
The base glaze colour of the plate is yellow and the underside is off-white. This is transfer printed with the words ‘FF FIGGJO FLINT MADE IN NORWAY’.
The plate has a diameter of about 22.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
