Retro Hornsea 'Stripes' Design Kitchen Utensil Container in Red and White

This is a very stylish piece of Hornsea from the ‘Stripes’ range and dating to the mid-1980s.
The container is approximately cylindrical in shape, stepping in at the base. The body is white and is decorated with a band of vertical red stripes. On one side it is printed with the words ‘KITCHEN THINGS’. The base is plain and marked in the centre.
This is a popular Hornsea design that was only in production for two years, from 1984-1986. This is an example of the highly collectible red and white version.
It has a height of approximately 14.7cm and a diameter across the rim of about 10.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
