Retro 1970s Sunquick Juice (Co-Ro) Glass Fridge Jug in Red

This is a nice example of a promotional fridge jug produced for Sunquick Juice and dating to the 1970s.
The jug has a cylindrical glass body with a high waisted portion. It is moulded with a textured design and the Sunquick logo on two sides. The base is moulded with ‘REG. TRADEMARK CO-RO FOOD’ and the numbers ‘02’ and ‘14’.
The screw-on lid is made from red plastic and forms the handle and spout. The lid is on a pivot which can control the rate of flow. It is moulded on one side with ‘SUNQUICK’ and ‘CO-RO’ on the other.
These jugs were offered as promotional goods to accompany bottles of Sunquick juice. Although they are still in production, this variation dates to the 1970s.
It has a maximum height of approximately 23.5cm and a diameter across the base of about 8.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
