This is a nice example of a decorative pin dish or trinket dish from the iconic ‘Jasperware‘ range by Wedgwood and dating to the last quarter of the 20th century.
The dish is made from stoneware that is tinted with the classic pale blue shade. It has a flat rim that is decorated with an intertwining relief-moulded vine sprig in white. In the centre of the dish is an image of St. Paul’s Cathedral, with a banner below containing the name.
The underside of the base is plain and impressed with the words ‘WEDGWOOD ® MADE IN ENGLAND’ and what appear to be the letters ‘CG’.
It has a diameter across the rim of 11.3cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 110g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
