Stuart Crystal ‘Amy’ Design Cross and Wedge Cut Perfume Atomiser

This is a high-quality lead crystal scent bottle or atomiser in the ‘Amy’ shape by Stuart Crystal.

The atomiser has a rounded body, tapering in towards the thickened base. The latter is star-cut and unmarked. The body is cut around the centre with a band of crosses, the upper and lower limbs of which come into close approximation. There is a vertical wedge cut above and below this point. In the diamond-shaped panels formed between adjacent crosses is a further small cross cut. Above and below the centre of each large cross is a small vertical wedge cut. The glass portion is topped with a gold-coloured metal atomiser and pale pink fabric-covered atomiser bulb and stalk. This fabric is slightly worn in places with a few marks from use.

It has a maximum height of approximately 12.0cm.

It has an unwrapped weight of 260g.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although as previously mentioned there are a couple of minor marks on the fabric from use.
