This is an attractive posy vase produced by the Jersey Pottery and probably dating to the latter quarter of the 20th century.
This small round-bodied vase has an underlying white ceramic body that has been decorated with a stylised berry and foliage motif in orange and brown, reminiscent of the Pyracantha shrub. The interior is white.
The base is marked in black with ‘JERSEY POTTERY C.I.’
It has a height of approximately 8.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.8cm and across the base of about 5.0cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 230g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
