This is a set of four good-quality lead glass tumblers dating to the early 20th century.
Each glass is approximately cylindrical, tapering in towards the thickened base. The latter is plain and unmarked.
The bowl is acid-etched by machine with a circumferential band of four wavy lines surmounting an undulating wavy line overlapping a band of arched scallops.
Each tumbler has a height of approximately 10.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.2cm and across the base of about 5.5cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 300ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 320g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There are some notches at the rim, which are smooth (unlike chips) and likely due to the rim being cut and finished during manufacture. This is not damage but a manufacturing flaw.
