This is a set of five high-quality, cut lead crystal small tumblers produced by Richardson Glass and dating to the second quarter of the 20th century.
Each glass is approximately cylindrical in shape with a thickened base. The bowl is cut with four elongated cross-cuts. Between adjacent crosses are three horizontal wedge cuts stacked on one another.
The base is plain and marked with a Union Flag and the words ‘RICHARDSON BRITISH’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 8.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.0cm and across the base of about 5.1cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 160ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 710g.
They are in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some wear and tear scratches to the bowls commensurate with age and use.
