This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal sherry glasses from the ‘Tramore’ suite by Waterford Crystal.
The trumpet-shaped bowl has a circumferential wedge cut approximately halfway down; a series of thin vertical wedge cuts surmount this. Below this is a pattern of relief diamonds formed from three rows of interlocking crosses. The stem tapers in from its junction with the bowl and then flares out to form a central bladed knop. The foot is star cut and marked on the edge with the word ‘WATERFORD’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 11.4cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.7cm and across the foot of about 6.0cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 70ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 300g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
