This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal small tumblers, possibly British in origin and probably dating to the 1920s.
Each glass is of tapering form, narrowing in as it approaches the thickened base. The latter is polished flat and unmarked. The lower part of the bowl is decorated with six concave lens or ‘printie’ cuts alternating with vertical wedge cuts.
Each glass has a height of approximately 9.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.3cm and across the base of about 4.1cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 160ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 340g.
They are in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some wear and tear scratches to the bowls commensurate with age and use.
