This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal pan champagne glasses probably dating to about 1880.
The pan-shaped bowl is cut with a ring of elongated ‘thumb’ or oval cuts around its centre. The base of the bowl is cut with a ring of eight overlapping oval facet cuts, arranged horizontally. There is a small collar joining the bowl to the long straight stem. The foot is plain, flat and unmarked.
Each glass has a height of approximately 11.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.0cm and across the foot of about 6.4cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 165ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 250g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
