Pair of Dartington Glass ‘Compleat Imbiber’ Design Port Glasses FT151/2

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal port glasses from the ‘Compleat Imbiber’ suite designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.

The cylindrical bowl tapers in at the thickened base to a solid cylindrical stem. This then flares out to form the slightly domed foot. The latter is marked in the centre with the Dartington ‘D’ logo.

Each glass has a height of approximately 12.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.7cm and across the foot of about 6.5cm. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions, due to the handmade nature of the glasses.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 225ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 380g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
