Pair of Dartington Crystal ‘Sharon’ Design Sherry Glasses FT115/1 (Seconds)

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal sherry glasses from the ‘Sharon’ suite designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.

The conical bowl merges imperceptibly with the tapering stem, which contains an enclosed air bubble. The foot is discoid and unmarked.

Each glass has a height of approximately 16.2cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.2cm and across the foot of about 6.5cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 95ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of about 310g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some striations in the glass on the bowls that may suggest that they are of ‘seconds’ quality. They have been priced with this in mind.
