Pair of Dartington Crystal ‘Rummer’ Design Wine Goblets FT104/4

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal wine goblets from the sought-after ‘Rummer’ suite, designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.

The capacious bucket-shaped bowl tapers in as it approaches the thickened base. This sits on a broad, discoid collar that joins it to the solid, cylindrical stem. There is a further smaller discoid collar at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot. The latter is unmarked.

Each glass has a height of approximately 14.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.6cm and across the foot of about 7.7cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 300ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 780g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
