This is a nice crude example of a mass-produced wine or ale glass dating to about 1870.
The rim is ground flat, and the elongated bowl tapers in towards the base. There is a discoid collar at the junction of the bowl and the plain, slightly waisted stem. There is a broad globular attachment at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot.
It has a height of approximately 12.3cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.1cm and across the foot of about 6.2cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 130ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 120g.
It is in good condition, considering its age. There are a few wear and tear scratches to the bowl and foot, which are commensurate with age, as well as a couple of marks within the glass on the foot. These internal stresses may have been caused during use but are not chips.
