This is a classic Grecian-style ceramic flower urn or bowl produced by Wedgwood.
The bowl is oval in section with a tapering body. It is moulded with a raised ridged pattern. There are two strap-shaped curved handles attached on opposing sides. The vase stands on an oval plinth-like base.
The underside of the piece has a mauve-coloured circular mark with the words ‘WEDGWOOD OF ETRURIA & BARLASTON MADE IN ENGLAND’.
It has a height of approximately 10.5cm, with a maximum length (including the handles) of about 31.0cm and a width of about 10.9cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 710g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
