Dartington Crystal ‘Regency’ Design Wine Goblet FT118

This is a high-quality lead crystal wine goblet from the sought-after ‘Regency’ suite, designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.

The glass has a capacious, bell-shaped bowl. There is a broad discoid collar at the junction of the bowl and the solid, cylindrical stem. There is a further globular attachment at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot. The latter is unmarked.

It has a height of approximately 13.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.6cm and across the foot of about 8.4cm.

The glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 355ml.

It has an unwrapped weight of 350g.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd wear and tear scratch to the glass commensurate with use.
