This is a high-quality lead crystal footed bowl produced by Christinenhütte of Germany, a subdivision of Cristallerie Zwiesel (Schott Zwiesel).
The capacious bowl has a slightly everted rim and a broad rounded base. It sits on a discoid collar; the stem is short with a central flattened globular knop. The stem merges with the plain, flat foot, which is slightly domed in the centre and unmarked.
The bowl bears the original silver and blue label, which reads ‘CHRISTINENHÜTTE GERMANY’ surmounted by the company logo.
It has a height of approximately 14.3cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 12.9cm and across the foot of about 9.5cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 500g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
