This is a nice example of a mid 19th century champagne flute, probably British in origin.
The trumpet shaped bowl is plain and tapers in towards the thickened base. There is a thin discoid collar at the junction of the bowl and the stem. The latter has a central bladed knop. The foot is plain and polished flat.
It has a height of approximately 15.1cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 5.9cm and across the foot of about 6.5cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
