The elongated bowl tapers in towards the thickened base. It is cut in its lower half with six large criss-crosses, the upper and lower limbs of which come in to close approximation. In the diamond shaped panel thus formed is a further criss-cross with elongated lower limbs that bisect the lower limbs of adjacent large criss-crosses. At the point where upper limbs of the large crosses meet and above the centre of each large cross is a broad vertical wedge cut.
The long straight stem is cut with six facets. The foot is star cut and unmarked.
I believe that due to the fact that these glasses are unmarked they either original had stickers or are perhaps ‘seconds’. Please check that you are happy with the dimensions before adding to your collection.
Each glass has a height of approximately 20.8cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.1cm and across the foot of about 6.6cm. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
