Pair of Waterford Crystal ‘Alana’ Design Lead Crystal Wine or Water Goblets
For a full product description, see below.
This is a pair of high-quality cut lead large wine or water goblets from the ‘Alana’ suite by Waterford Crystal.
The bucket-shaped bowl is cut with a pattern of diamonds in relief, formed by angulated wedge cuts that intersect. Below the rim, alternate pairs of wedge cuts cross above the panel of diamonds. The base of the bowl is thickened and cut with six petals cuts, which extend downwards onto the tapering stem as vertical facets. The foot is plain and marked with the word ‘WATERFORD’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 17.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.7cm and across the foot of about 7.5cm. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
