Pair of Tudor Crystal Highly Cut Lead Crystal Sherry Glasses with Original Stickers

This is a pair of high quality cut lead crystal sherry glasses by Tudor Crystal and dating to the mid-20th century.

The bowl has a cylindrical upper portion that tapers in as it approaches the thickened base. It is cut with a complex design that repeats four times around the bowl. There are four large crosses around the bowl with elongated upper limbs. Above the centre of each cross is an inverted V shape that meets the lower limbs. Below the centre of each cross is a further V shape that meets the upper limbs of each cross. There is a short baluster shaped stem and a plain, flat foot. The latter is marked in the centre with the words ‘TUDOR ENGLAND’.

One glass bears the original blue and gold sticker that reads ‘CRYSTAL TUDOR MADE IN ENGLAND’.

Each glass has a height of approximately 10.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.1cm and across the foot of about 4.8cm.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
