Pair of Thomas Webb ‘Normandy’ Design White Wine Glasses

This is a pair of high quality cut lead crystal white wine glasses from the ‘Normandy’ suite by Thomas Webb. The rounded bowl is cut with a continuous band of deep wedge cuts. Beneath these is a pattern consisting of chequered diamonds. The lower part of the bowl is cut with six facets, which continue downwards onto the elongated stem. There is a small collar at the junction of the stem and foot. The latter is marked in the centre with the word ‘WEBB’. Each glass has a height of approximately 11.1cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.3cm and at the foot of about 5.7cm. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses. They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
