Pair of Schott Zwiesel ‘Flamenco’ Design Wine Glasses

This is a pair of high quality cut and moulded lead crystal wine glasses from the ‘Flamenco’ suite by Schott Zwiesel. The rounded bowl is approximately cylindrical, tapering in slightly towards the rim. The bowl is cut with a band of vertical wedge cuts that widens out to form a leaf shape just above the base. In the space between each vertical cut there is a leaf-shaped wedge cut. The stem is moulded with eight triangular facets, below which are four inverted triangles. There is a central bladed knop that is faceted; the lower part of the stem is faceted in the same way as the upper part. These facets extend down on the foot to give it a lobed effect. The underside of the foot is plain and unmarked. Each glass has a height of approximately 15.3cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.1cm and across the foot of about 6.7cm. They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
