Pair of Royal Brierley ‘Winchester’ Design Cut Lead Crystal Sherry Glasses
For a full product description, see below.
This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal sherry or port glasses from the ‘Winchester’ suite by Royal Brierley.
The rounded bowl is cut with a series of seven vertical wedge cuts, dividing it into seven panels. Each of these contains a large thumb cut above a cross cut. The short stem has a central ball knop. The foot is plain and marked with the word 'BRIERLEY', although this is not easily discernible.
Each glass has a height of approximately 9.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.5cm and across the foot of about 5.2cm. There may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 88ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 230g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
