Pair of John Jenkins Lead Crystal Wine Glasses with Silver and Gold Floral Design
This is a pair of high quality moulded lead crystal wine glasses, imported from the Czech Republic by John Jenkins.
This is a pair of high quality moulded lead crystal wine glasses, imported from the Czech Republic by John Jenkins.
The bowl is rounded with an inverted rim. Below the rim there is a circumferential band of silver which has a central stylised floral design, bordered above and below by a scallop and dot design. Above and below the silver band there is a fine band of gilding.
The stem is moulded with eight facets and has a waisted upper portion. There is a central multifaceted ball knop, below which the stem widens out to merge with the foot. The latter is also moulded with eight facets.
Each glass has a height of approximately 13.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.8cm and across the foot of about 6.1cm.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
