Pair of Denby ‘Bakewell’ Design Stoneware Ramekins

This is a pair of good quality vintage ramekins from the classic ‘Bakewell’ suite by Denby.
Each ramekin is of classic form, with a tapering cylindrical body that is ribbed on the exterior, and a flared rim. The exterior is glazed in dark matte brown and there is a stylised floral pattern on one side. The interior is glazed in mottled beige.
The base of each piece is unglazed, revealing the underlying ceramic body to be beige stoneware. They are marked in black with the words ‘BAKEWELL DENBY ENGLAND’.
Each piece has a height of approximately 4.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.3cm and across the base of about 7.1cm.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
