Pair of Dartington Crystal ‘Agatha’ Design Lead Crystal Claret Wine Glasses FT380/2
For a full product description, see below.
This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal claret wine glasses from the ‘Agatha’ suite designed by Frank Thrower in 1985 for Dartington Crystal.
The bowl has a narrow rim and the bowl widens out and then tapers back in again to merges with the straight stem. There is a globular knop at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot. The latter is unmarked.
Each glass has a height of approximately 17.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.0cm and across the foot of about 6.8cm.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd wear and tear scratch commensurate with use.
