This is a stylish and pretty dinner plate from the ‘Spring Meadow’ suite by Noritake.
This is a stylish and pretty dinner plate from the ‘Spring Meadow’ suite by Noritake.
The plate has a gilded rim and is decorated with a delicate repeating floral pattern in blue, white and yellow with green foliage. There is a gilded ring surrounding the centre of the plate.
The back of the plate is stamped in terracotta with a cartouche bearing the words ‘CONTEMPORARY FINE CHINA BY NORITAKE SRI LANKA’. Below this is the pattern name ‘SPRING MEADOW’ and the number ‘2484’.
It has a diameter of approximately 26.8cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
