This is a nice example of a scent bottle, probably Italian in origin and possibly by V. Nason & C of Murano.
The scent bottle is of discoid form, widening out from the neck and then tapering in towards the base. The latter is slightly domed and unmarked. The whole is made from black glass encasing a marbled layer of aventurine. The fitting is made from a silver coloured metal and unscrews so that the perfume can be topped up. The atomiser fitting is made from black fabric and has a black tassel at the end.
It has a maximum height of approximately 10.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
