Monart Trumpet Shaped Mottled Green Glass Vase

This is a simple yet elegant example of a small flower vase by Monart glass. The vase has a trumpet shaped upper portion, with a wide everted rim. The base flares out slightly. The latter has a central polished area with a ‘button’. It is made from two layers of flint glass encasing a dappled layer in pastel green, darker shades of green, flecked with black and blue. It has a height of approximately 11.5cm, a diameter at the rim of about 10.9cm and at the base of about 6.2cm. The central ‘button’ measures 2.0cm in diameter. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
