Monart Blue Black and Aventurine Small Bowl

This is a simple yet elegant example of a small decorative bowl by Monart glass. The bowl is made from two layers of flint glass encasing a dappled layer in powder blue, black and aventurine. The interior of the bowl has a slightly domed centre. This corresponds to an exterior central polished area with a ‘button’. It has a height of approximately 5.1cm, a diameter at the rim of about 12.2cm and at the base of about 6.5cm. The central ‘button’ measures 2.7cm in diameter. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
