Mid 20th Century Lattice Cut Lead Crystal Pickle Jar

This is a nice example of a mid 20th century pickle jar. The rounded body sits on a star cut discoid base. It is cut just below the centre with a band of diamonds in relief. The neck of the jar and the peg of the hollow stopper are both ground to allow tight fitting. The flattened stopper is star cut in the centre. It has a maximum height of approximately 15.0cm. It is in good condition, considering its age. There are a few wear and tear scratches to the body and some very faint marks on the interior. This wear is reflected in the price.
