Lead Crystal Wine Goblet decorated with ‘The Garter Star’

This is a lovely example of a high-quality lead crystal wine goblet, maker unknown.
The capacious bowl is rounded, tapering in towards the base. The latter merges with the bulbous stem and plain, flat foot. The latter is unmarked.
The bowl is decorated on one side with ‘The Garter Star’ emblem, which reads ‘HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE’.
It has a height of approximately 12.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.4cm and across the foot of about 6.3cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is a horizontal linear mark that extends out from the emblem, which is a manufacturing mark.
