This is a nice example of a late 19th or early 20th century measuring cylinder.
It is approximately bucket shaped and engraved with the words ‘TABLE’ and a scale from one to four. The other side of this is etched with the word ‘TEA’ and the numbers ‘1, 2, 4, 6, 8’. The base is plain and unmarked. The rim has a small swelling where the glass was cut during manufacturing.
It has a height of approximately 6.9cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 4.9cm and across the base of about 3.6cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
