This is a nice example of a ‘pub’ wine glass, probably dating to around 1870.
The rounded bowl is attached to the discoid foot by means of a slightly waisted stem. The latter has a central tool mark.
It has a height of approximately 9.3cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.3cm and across the foot of about 6.1cm.
It is in good condition for its age, with no chips or cracks. There are a number of wear and tear scratches all over the bowl. There are also a few runs in the glass and some enclosed air bubbles in the foot. These are manufacturing artefacts and do not detract from the piece in any way.
