This is a simple but elegant small flower vase, probably dating to about 1880.
The vase has a tapering body and a slightly everted rim. The body terminates in a wide discoid foot. The vase is made from a pale jade coloured opaque glass. The whole is glossy except for the rim, which has a matt effect.
It has a height of approximately 11.8cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 7.5cm and across the foot of about 6.9cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. At the junction of the foot and the body there are a number of cooling creases, some of which are more visible than others. These are manufacturing artefacts.
