This is a nice example of a simple cordial glass, probably British in origin and dating to around 1870.
The bell shaped bowl merges imperceptibly with the short baluster stem. The foot is plain with the remains of a central tool mark.
It has a height of approximately 8.1cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 4.3cm and across the foot of about 4.1cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a number of enclosed bubbles and striations in the glass. These are manufacturing artefacts and do not detract from the piece in any way.
