This is a nice example of a simple yet elegant jelly glass, probably British in origin and dating to the latter part of the Georgian era.
The elongated bowl tapers in towards the thickened base and is cut with six broad panels with curved upper and lower margins. The stem and foot are plain; the latter is polished flat.
It ahs a height of approximately 10.9cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 5.4cm and across the foot of about the same.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
