This is a really charming ceramic model of an Old English sheepdog.
The dog is beautifully moulded so that the texture of his fur and his facial features are lifelike.
His feet are unglazed on the underneath, revealing the underlying ceramic body to be white in colour. The tongue has been painted after glazing; the paint has worn and flaked off in places.
It has a maximum height of approximately 17.4cm and a maximum length of about 22.0cm.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although as previously mentioned the tongue paint is worn.
