This is a high quality cut lead crystal brandy glass, probably British in origin and dating to the latter part of the 20th century.
The balloon shaped bowl is cut with a band consisting of three rows of interlocking criss-crosses. In the uppermost row where adjacent crosses come into contact there is an elongated vertical wedge cut. The base of the bowl is thickened and merges imperceptibly with the short stem. This flares out to form the discoid foot. The latter is unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 12.1cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.3cm and across the foot of about 7.1cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
