Early 20th Century Green Celluloid Button Hook Shoe Horn and Lint Remover Folding Travel Kit
For a full product description, see below.
This is a nice example of a compact grooming kit, maker unknown but dating to the first quarter of the 20th century.
The piece is made from what I believe is dark green celluloid (plastic). The rectangular base forms the lint remover, which has a velvet pad below the celluloid. On one end there is a rotating pin, which attaches the matching shoe horn and boot hook.
It has a length of approximately 10.2cm and a width of about 4.1cm.
It is in good condition, although there are some scuffs to the celluloid where the components have been turned, and the velvet pad is quite worn. This is to be expected from a piece of this age.
