Early 20th Century Boxwood 2ft Folding Ruler with Brass Hinges
For a full product description, see below.
This is a nice example of a folding carpenter’s ruler, probably British in origin and dating to the first half of the 20th century.
The ruler is made from wood, probably boxwood. The ruler has brass ends and fine brass hinges at 6-inch intervals. The central hinge swivels to create a 24 inch or 2-foot rule.
It is in good used condition, with numerous marks and old paint marks on it. These are commensurate with the age of the piece.
