Davidson Amber Cloud Glass Flower Bowl with ‘Frog’ No. 1907TD

This is a classic example of ‘cloud glass’ as produced by Davidson. The bowl is made from amber cloud glass and has a strong everted rim. The interior is glossy and the exterior is matte. On the exterior, below the rim, the bowl is moulded with a lattice of ‘cross-cut’ diamonds. It has a discoid foot that is plain and unmarked. It has the pattern number 1907TD. In addition, the flower bowl comes with the original amber cloud glass ‘frog’ or flower support. It is moulded with the words ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ on the underside. It has a height of approximately 4.8cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 13.2cm and across the foot of about 6.9cm. It is in good condition, although some of the mould lines are little rough and there are a few minute chips on the ‘frog’. This wear is reflected in the price.
