Dartington Glass ‘Jones’ Design Lead Crystal Flower Vase FT233/2 in Ripple

This is a high-quality lead crystal flower vase in the ‘Jones’ design by Frank Thrower for Dartington Glass.
The vase has a wide cylindrical neck and an everted rim. The neck flares out to form a short angular shoulder and a wide cylindrical body. The base is flat and unmarked. The whole is moulded with a twisted ribbed effect known as ‘ripple’.
This vase has the pattern number FT233/2 and was introduced around 1978-1979.
It has a height of approximately 15.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.0cm and across the base of about 11.2cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 380g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few wear and tear scratches to the body and base commensurate with use.
