Dartington Glass ‘Daisy’ Design Butter Platter FT214 in Original Box
For a full product description, see below.
This is a classic handmade lead crystal butter platter, designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Glass.
The piece is discoid in shape and moulded with a daisy motif on the underside that is surrounded by a textured finish. The upper surface is polished flat and unmarked.
The piece comes in the original cardboard box or sleeve, although this is slightly worn around the edges.
The platter has a diameter of approximately 18.7cm.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although a previous owner has written the word ‘CHEESE’ on one of the edges of the box. This is only noticeable on close inspection.
