This is a good example of a 24% lead crystal wine carafe by Dartington Crystal.
The carafe is broadly bottle-shaped, with a moulded twisted ribbed pattern known as ‘ripple’. The rim is slightly everted and pinched to form a pouring spout. The base is plain and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 24.0cm in height, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.5cm and across the base of about 7.2cm. It has a liquid capacity of about 75cl.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
