This is a nice example of a lead crystal pen holder, designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.
The holder is heart-shaped, with a smooth upper surface and textured sized and base. The piece has a central round angulated hole.
The base is plain and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 2.8cm and a maximum width of about 6.5cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
