This is a good example of a lead crystal flower vase by Dartington Crystal.
The vase is approximately cylindrical, with a short neck. The vase is moulded with a twisted ribbed pattern known as ‘ripple’. The thickened base has a polished out pontil and is etched with the Dartington ‘D’ logo. In addition, the vase bears the original black and gold sticker which reads ‘DARTINGTON, ENGLAND 24% LEAD CRYSTAL’.
It has a height of approximately 22.5cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 7.7cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
