British Low Lead Crystal Highly Cut Footed Dessert Bowl

This is a nice example of a dessert bowl, probably British in origin and dating to the mid-20th century. The capacious bowl has a broad flattened rim that is everted at the edge. The body is cut approximately halfway down with a ring of stylised laurel leaves; the space between each laurel leaf is filled with a pair of three-pointed horizontal fan cuts. It has a short stem comprised of a ball knop. The thickened foot is broad and has an everted notched rim. The foot is unmarked. It has a height of approximately 7.8cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 13.4cm and across the foot of about 9.0cm. PLEASE NOTE: If buying multiples of this product there may be minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glass. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
